OUR COMPANY

Consorfrut was created in the year 2000. At that time its main target was to attend the increasing demand of the Eastern European countries. With the creation of this Consortium, the companies integrated in it were looking for a company formed by skilled people that could provide with the best service and produce to those countries with special characteristics. The partners are important growers with many years of experience in this field. Presently the Consortium is formed by the Spanish companies MURGIVERDE S.C.A., FRUTAS HNOS. ESPAX S.L., S.A.T. FRUTSOL, ALBENFRUIT S.L. and CITRIMED S.L, as well as the Argentinean firm, Argenti Lemon S.A. Their farms are spread along the Mediterranean coast. From Almeria (all type of vegetables, melons and watermelons), passing through Valencia and Castellón (the best and biggest citrus producing areas) until Lerida (all type of stone fruit, pears and apples). Also in Argentina the production spreads along the country. Lemons in Tucumán, grapes in San Juan and pears and apples in Rio Negro. Such different type of produce enables us to harvest quality fruits and vegetables along the year and to maintain a close contact with our customers from January to December. It seems quite clear that part of the strength of Consorfrut is based in the great volume of our high quality produce that satisfies the most demanding customers. Sunflavour is the brand used for our produce in all markets although some times due to marketing policies we also use the different brands of our partners. For the demanding German market only top quality produce is marketed using the Mephistus brand. Consorfrut S.L. is ISO 9001:2008 certified (issued by Lloyd’s Registrer). All our staff is implied in the target of reaching the total satisfaction of our customers with the commitment of a continuous improvement both of our business relationship and of quality of produce.
